Job summary

SRS Distribution in Rochester, NY is seeking a CDL Driver & Crane Operator to safely transport building materials within a 200-mile radius and operate cranes, forklifts, and conveyors. You will perform DOT-compliant inspections, coordinate with rooftop loaders, and document deliveries with photos.

The role includes on-site customer service, adherence to safety standards, and occasional warehouse support. Minimum qualifications include a valid CDL with air brakes, knowledge of OSHA and DOT

Qualifications

• Valid CDL driver's license with air brakes endorsement.
• Proficiency in performing routine vehicle inspections and safety checks.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and OSHA safety standards.
• English reading, writing, and verbal communication.
• Experience operating cranes, forklifts, conveyors, or crane-equipped trucks.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Clean driving record; background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver building materials within a 200-mile radius, following DOT regulations and company policies.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, operate cranes and forklifts, and coordinate with rooftop loaders to ensure accurate, damage-free deliveries.
• Verify inventory, document deliveries with photos, and assess job sites for safety risks.
• Provide excellent on-site customer service and support warehouse and yard maintenance.
