Carter Lumber is hiring a CDL Delivery Specialist to transport orders to local customer jobsites safely with our company fleet. You will ensure daily delivery schedules are met and provide friendly, professional customer service as materials are placed at the customers' locations.

The role requires a CDL, truck-mounted forklift experience, and a team-oriented attitude. We offer a benefits package and room for growth in a family-owned, steady employer.

Qualifications

• CDL license required and a clean driving record.
• Delivery experience preferred, especially with building materials.

Description

As one of our CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using our well-maintained and company-owned fleet. You will ensure that daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service. While on site, you will unload using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift to place the customer’s materials right where they need them.

Requirements

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred
• Ability to be a team player
• Hire On Bonus to be paid out at 30 Days & 60 Days of employment
