Job summary

Carter Lumber is hiring a CDL Delivery Specialist to transport orders to local jobsites in a safe, timely manner. You will unload using a dump bed or truck-mounted forklift and ensure customer satisfaction with friendly service.

Qualifications

• CDL license and clean driving record are required.
• Prior delivery experience with building materials is preferred.
• Ability to operate a truck-mounted forklift and unload loads safely.
• Strong teamwork and customer service mindset requested.

Description

As one of our CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using our well-maintained and company-owned fleet. You will ensure that daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service. While on site, you will unload using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift to place the customer’s materials right where they need them.

Requirements

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred
• Ability to be a team player
• Hire On Bonus to be paid out at 30 Days & 60 Days of employment
