Job summary

Kamco Supply Corp. of Boston is seeking a CDL delivery driver to transport and deliver building materials to customer sites. Local daytime routes, home daily, with potential overtime during peak periods, and a mix of warehouse and outdoor job-site work.

Requirements include a valid CDL Class A or B license, current DOT medical card, clean driving record, and the ability to pass DOT drug and physical screenings. Prior experience delivering building materials and forklift experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B license.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass MVR checks annually.
• Experience delivering building materials or working in construction supply.
• Familiarity with local routes and job site deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL Class A or B vehicle to deliver materials to customer locations.
• Complete local deliveries (typically multiple stops per day) in a timely and professional manner.
• Load, unload, secure, and protect materials to prevent damage during transit.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections (tires, lights, brakes, fluids).
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and DOT-required logs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse team, and customers.
• Follow all safety policies, including use of PPE and safe delivery site practices.
• Assist with warehouse duties, loading, and staging materials as needed.

Kamco Supply Corp. of Boston is New England's largest one stop source and distributor of commercial building products including acoustical ceiling systems, architectural doors and hardware, drywall, steel framing, insulation, and exterior systems.

We are seeking to add a backup Driver with a CDL to our team. The CDL Driver is responsible for safely transporting and delivering building materials to customer job sites. This role focuses on standard CDL driving responsibilities.

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate a CDL Class A or B vehicle to deliver materials to customer locations
• Complete local deliveries (typically multiple stops per day) in a timely and professional manner
• Load, unload, secure, and protect materials to prevent damage during transit
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections (tires, lights, brakes, fluids)
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and DOT-required logs
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse team, and customers

Schedule & Work Environment

• Exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and precipitation
• Ability to drive in varying weather conditions

Physical Requirements

• Ability to pass a DOT pre-employment physical and drug screening
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50-100 pounds occasionally
• Frequent bending, lifting, and securing loads
• Ability to enter/exit truck cab and work on job sites safely

Candidates must pass a DOT pre-employment physical, lift test, and DOT drug test.
