Job summary

Bergey's Inc. in Sellersville, PA is seeking a full-time shuttle driver to support our retread plant operations. You will transport serviced vehicles and ensure timely pickups and deliveries while following DOT and company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle per DOT and company rules.
• Picks up and delivers serviced vehicles as scheduled.
• Maintain shuttle route on-time and communicate disruptions.
• Record trips destinations and keep vehicle maintenance notes.
• Ensure forklift operations for loading/unloading when needed.
• Maintain professional appearance and comply with safety policies.

Location: Bergey's Retread Plant, Sellersville PA

Shift: Full Time

Essential Functions

• Operate vehicle in accordance with DOT and Company rules
• Picks up and delivers serviced vehicles
• Uses good judgment and safe driving skills
• Keeps a timely shuttle route.
• Operates radio or similar device to communicate with dealership or other vehicles to report disruption of service
• Keeps a record of trips destination or pick-up point.
• Notifies manager of any servicing the shuttle vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning, and general maintenance
• Driver needs to use a forklift to unload and load trailer on delivery routes.
• All Routes are executed daily with no overnight routes required.
• Maintains a professional appearance
• Performs other duties as assigned

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Valid Driver's License -CDL-Class A Required
• Positive Attitude and Good Communication Skills
• Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening
