Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a reliable Driver (CDL-B) in Doraville, GA, to deliver goods to job sites and shops. The role requires safe loading/unloading, and adherence to DOT regulations. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is available after 90 days of continuous employment.

Responsibilities include operating piggyback forklifts, securing loads, completing inspections and logs, and loading crates for shipment. Night, weekend, or early morning shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Has a CDL-B license and equipment certifications (crane, industrial truck).
• Minimum 6 months in a driving position.
• Experience with RF/barcode technology helpful.

Responsibilities

DescriptionWe are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver - CDL to join our team! This position offers the opportunity to make a real impact while enjoying a schedule that allows you to be home every night.Addtionally, eligible new hires will receive a $1,000 sign-on bonus after completing 90 days of continuous employment.Position may involve loading, securing and driving Company vehicles in accordance with all licensing and DOT regulations. Deliver finished goods for customer's installation process at jobsite or their shop.RESPONSIBILITIES:Follows maps or written directions to deliver to customer's shop or jobsiteUses good judgment in assessing jobsite conditions and safe unloadingObtains valid signature on all delivery documentsSafely mount, dismount, secure, and operate piggyback (truck-mounted) forklifts for loading and unloading.Completes daily required truck inspectionCompletes driver logs as needed.Follows all DOT and licensing requirements as neededMust be flexible and available for nights, weekends or early morning deliveriesLift boxes of material to stage in desired containers for shipment.Operates available equipment to ready crates and boxes for loading process.Uses available equipment to load and unload pipe and material from flat bed and box type trailers.Follows all company policies and procedures.Handles additional tasks necessary to fulfill the needs of the company and the customer as deemed by the warehouse lead, fabrication manager, or branch operations manager.QualificationsQualifications:Has a CDL-B license, as well as equipment certifications (crane, industrial truck)Minimum of 6 months in a previous driving position.Proven ability to mount/unmount and secure piggyback units safely.Basic keypad and/or keyboard skills.Prior experience with RF technology used in bar coding environment helpful.1 year working in a multitask environment while under time constraints.Basic arithmetic skills required using whole numbers and decimals.Moffet/Piggyback Forklift Experience
