Job summary

QXO is hiring a CDL Driver to deliver and unload finished products to customer locations. Safe operation of a tractor trailer locally, with emphasis on customer service and adherence to DOT regulations.

The role requires a valid Class A license, a minimum of 3 years of verifiable commercial driving experience, a clean DMV record, and the ability to meet state and federal requirements for a three-axle vehicle. 18+ years old.

Job Description

Currently hiring a CDL Driver to deliver and unload finished products, parts and materials to our customer locations. Safely operate a tractor trailer combination locally. Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting up 50 lbs. during physical loading/unloading of trucks. Excellent customer service skills- Our Drivers are the most important ambassadors of our company and build relationships with our customers. Able to read, write and understand English Language, as well as, use navigation software. Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned. Minimum of 18 years of age. If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required. Valid Class A driver’s license. Minimum of 3 year of verifiable commercial driving experience. Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle Record. Ability to meet State and Federal transportation and medical requirements to operate a three (3) axle vehicle.

Travel Requirements

Eighty (80%) percent of all work activities are performed inside the cab of the commercial vehicle. The remainder of work activities are performed outdoors. May require overnight travel.

Physical Requirements

Role requires good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength. This role requires prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on the specific job duties.

Compensation

Compensation Range $20.00 - $40.00 To comply with Pay Transparency laws, employers must disclose an annual salary range. Actual offers depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, and market data. This position may also offer variable compensation.
