Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT, FMCSA and company regulations
  • Complete local and regional deliveries to customer and company locations
  • Load and unload product with proper securement and weight compliance
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
  • Maintain required delivery documentation, driver logs and paperwork
  • Represent BVS professionally while interacting with customers and team members
  • Transition into operating bulk delivery vehicles as business needs grow
  • Warehouse support including picking, packing, shipping and receiving; transfer between roles as needed
  • Load/unload inbound and outbound shipments and maintain accurate inventory records

Description

BVS is seeking a CDL Driver / Bulk Delivery & Warehouse Support professional to support our growing operations. This role requires a Class A CDL and offers a unique opportunity to grow into a Bulk Delivery Driver position.

Initially, this role will support warehouse operations and local deliveries, transitioning into regular bulk driving responsibilities over time. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, adaptable, and committed to providing excellent service while supporting both transportation and warehouse teams.

Key Responsibilities
Driving & Delivery
  • Safely operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company regulations.
  • Complete local and regional deliveries to BVS customer and company locations.
  • Load and unload product safely, ensuring proper securement and weight compliance.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Maintain required delivery documentation, driver logs, and paperwork.
  • Represent BVS professionally while interacting with customers and team members.
  • Transition into operating bulk delivery vehicles as business needs grow.
Warehouse Support
  • Assist with picking, packing, shipping, and receiving of products.
  • Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments accurately.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely (certification provided if needed).
  • Support inventory counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Assist with transfers and additional deliveries as needed.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with acceptable driving record.
  • Hazmat endorsement required (must be maintained throughout employment).
  • Current DOT medical examiner’s certificate.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous CDL driving experience preferred; warehouse experience a plus.
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday with flexibility based on business needs.
  • Ability to pass background check, drug and alcohol screening, and required safety evaluations.
  • Forklift experience preferred or willingness to become certified.
