Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a delivery driver to operate a commercial vehicle and deliver building materials to job sites in Abilene, TX. You will load/unload materials, maintain safety standards, and provide world-class customer service to our clients while complying with DOT regulations.

The role requires a valid CDL, a clean MVR, and the ability to lift heavy items. This is a on-site position with potential for growth and a strong safety-focused team environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must have a valid CDL; Class B required, Class A strongly preferred.
• Clear three-year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) is required.
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations is necessary.
• Must be able to lift heavy materials (80-100 lbs) and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck/trailer for defects and safe operation.
• Safely load/unload materials onto flatbed or boom truck.
• Deliver materials to designated areas while prioritizing safety.
• Maintain records required for regulatory compliance.
• Report all accidents involving driver or company equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and professional conduct.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.
