Job summary

Stone Group Of Companies in San Jose is seeking a local CDL Driver/Boom Operator to safely deliver construction materials to nearby job sites using an Articulating Boom Loader (ABL) Crane, with the assistance of Material Stockers.

This role requires a Valid Class A CDL, truck and forklift experience, and the ability to lift and maneuver materials. NCCCO certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license.
• Proven truck and forklift experience.
• Ability to consistently lift and carry construction materials.
• Stand, climb, reach, bend and twist throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safe and legal operation of the delivery vehicle and attached Articulating Boom Loader (ABL) Crane.
• Physically handle materials with assistance of a Material Stocker.
• Safe delivery and off-loading of construction materials.
• Assist in accurate placement of delivered materials at jobsites.
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulatory guidelines.
• Perform various yard duties including shipping, receiving and filling customer orders.
• Maintain inventory control.

We are seeking a local CDL Driver/Boom Operator at our San Jose branch. As a CDL Driver/Boom Operator, you will be responsible for the safe handling and delivery of construction materials to local job sites using an Articulating Boom Loader (ABL) Crane and the assistance of CWallA Material Stockers.

Responsibilities of a Boom Truck Operator Include:

• Safe and legal operation of commercial delivery vehicle and attached Articulating Boom Loader (ABL) Crane
• Physically handling materials with the assistance of a Material Stocker
• Safe delivery and off-loading of commercial construction materials
• Participating in the accurate and orderly placement of delivered material at jobsites
• Continuously abiding by traffic laws and regulatory agency guidelines
• Various yard duties between deliveries including but not limitedto, shipping, receiving and filling customer orders
• Inventory control

Qualifications for a Boom Truck Operator Include:

• Valid Class A CDL license
• Proven coom truck and forklift experience
• Ability to consistently lift and carry construction materials
• Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist throughout complete shifts

NCCCO- ABL certification is preferred, but not required.
