Job summary

Parker’s Building Supply, a Division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking a CDL Driver Boom Crane to safely transport wall panels, trusses and materials to job sites. This role requires maintaining a Class A or B license, performing DOT inspections, and adhering to hours-of-service rules while delivering to active construction sites and yards.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, securing loads, operating boom cranes, and providing excellent customer service on site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CDL experience preferred.
• Experience transporting lumber and building materials required.
• Experience operating boom trucks and truck-mounted cranes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates Class A or B commercial vehicles in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner.
• Deliveries to active construction sites and completed locations; inter-state travel may be required.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Provide exceptional customer service and relay messages from customers on site.
• Load and secure loads, verify orders for accuracy, and unload/materials at delivery.
• Maintain logs and adhere to DOT hours-of-service requirements.
• Operate truck-mounted forklift as needed and keep the vehicle clean and organized.
• Assist in stocking and organizing inventory in warehouses and production areas.
