SiteOne Landscape Supply in Charlotte, NC is seeking a CDL Driver to deliver landscaping products to customers and assist with loading orders. You will operate a SiteOne vehicle in compliance with regulations, provide exceptional service, and help the branch succeed with teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class B CDL (Class A acceptable).
• Manual transmission experience preferred.
• Experience with truck-mounted forklifts (Moffett) preferred.
• Ability to read and write to record daily logs.
• Must meet physical requirements and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be 18 years or older; HS diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a SiteOne vehicle in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to SiteOne customers.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Assist customers with questions in person or by phone.
• Pull and prepare inventory orders for pickup or delivery.
• Collaborate with branch leadership on new technologies and processes.
• Assist with other branch duties as needed.
• Ensure dash cameras remain on during work hours for safety.

Position Overview

As a part of our dedicated team, CDL Drivers will be operating a SiteOne vehicle to deliver world-class service and landscape, nursery, forestry, and irrigation products to our customers. CDL Drivers are also responsible for loading and unloading trucks in addition to working with teammates to ensure the branch is operating successfully. This position will include the use of in-vehicle dash cameras to ensure the safety of SiteOne drivers, workforce, and the general public. In-vehicle dash cameras are designed to enhance job performance, driver and public safety, and provide assistance in critical situations.

What You’ll Do

• Operate vehicle in accordance with local, state and federal transportation regulations
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service to all SiteOne customers
• Cultivate and manage strong relationships with customers
• Assist customers with their questions and needs, either in person or over the phone
• Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pick up or delivery
• Partner with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working to help positively impact business performance
• Assist with other branch responsibilities as needed
• Do no obstruct or interfere with in-vehicle dash cameras, which must remain on during working time. Cameras may be turned off during off-duty time.
• Adhere to all SiteOne safety and security protocols, including but not limited to required use of in-vehicle dash cameras.

Skills We Are Seeking

• Valid Class B CDL license. Class A CDL licensees are also welcome!
• Experience operating a Manual shift may be preferred
• Experience operating a Moffett or other truck-mounted forklift may be preferred
• Ability to read and write to record and maintain daily records
• Ability to perform physical requirements such as bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head on a daily basis
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ready and willing to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
