Job summary

APAC-Atlantic, a CRH Company, is seeking a Tractor-Trailer driver to safely operate and transport materials in the Coastal Georgia and Low Country South Carolina markets. CDL-A or CDL-B is required, with DOT and OSHA compliance a must. The role involves loading/unloading, pre/post trip inspections, and accurate documentation. Shift flexibility may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• A valid State CDL-B or CDL-A license.
• Minimum of three (3) years related experience in construction field preferred.
• Ability to understand written and oral direction and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections with proper documentation per DOT guidelines.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions and follow loading crew signals.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and proper order.
• Maintain logs of hours and vehicle status per regulations.
• Inspect and inventory goods for quantities and conditions.
• Complete and submit necessary documents.
• Report vehicle defects or incidents.
