Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience operating commercial passenger vehicles.
• Experience transporting contractors and project staff.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Ability to work flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport contractors, visitors, and stakeholders throughout university facilities.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and complete required vehicle condition reports.
• Ensure compliance with university safety, security, traffic, and operational regulations.
• Coordinate transportation schedules and assignments with project management teams.
• Maintain accurate vehicle logs, mileage records, fuel usage reports, and maintenance documentation.
• Assist with the transportation of materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• Support emergency response activities and special operational requirements.
• Report accidents, incidents, hazards, and safety issues immediately.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service to staff and stakeholders.
• Maintain awareness of construction activity and restricted access areas.
• Assist with special transportation requests and operational support.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
