Evergreen FS in Illinois is seeking a CDL-qualified driver to operate tractor-trailers and related delivery equipment, perform pre-trip inspections, load and unload cargo, and follow DOT and safety standards to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 2+ years of related trucking experience.
• Must have or obtain CDL with endorsements and medical card.
• Ability to work extended hours and on-call as needed.
• Must obtain other applicable certifications, licenses and permits.

Responsabilités

• Operate tractor-trailer, tandem, or multi-axle configurations and related delivery equipment.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and daily safety checks; ensure clean vehicle.
• Load and unload cargo; ensure loads are balanced and comply with DOT regulations.
• Complete required paperwork (logs, bills of lading, delivery slips) accurately.
• Maintain equipment per company standards and follow safety policies.
