Job summary

Cowlitz Clean Sweep (CCS), a division of Pacific Northern Environmental LLC, seeks a CDL Class A or B Driver. You will transport hazardous or other materials to disposal locations, support field operations, and prioritize safety. Minimum 18+ with a valid license and tanker endorsement; Hazmat preferred.

2–3 years DOT driving experience required. Join CCS to work in a fast-paced team environment, serving major oil companies and industrial clients across the Pacific Northwest.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• CDL Class A with Tanker Endorsement; Hazmat preferred but not required.
• 2-3 years experience driving DOT regulated vehicles required.
• Hazmat experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate vacuum truck and safety transport of materials.
• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles in compliance with traffic laws.
• Drive per dispatch instructions and safety policies.
• Complete DOT pre/post trip inspections and required paperwork.
• Load/unload and position vacuum hoses at job sites.
• Ensure loads are properly secured prior to driving.

Cowlitz Clean Sweep (CCS) a Pacific Northern Environmental LLC division, is seeking an CDL Class A or B Driver who thrives in a fast-paced, team environment and has the ability to provide exceptional service and skills to our company, clients, and employees.

Pacific Northern Environmental, LLC consists of five divisions including Advanced Electrical Technologies (AET), Taurus Power and Controls (Taurus), Cowlitz Clean Sweep (CCS), Pacific Northern Environmental Construction (PNEC), and WasteXpress Environmental (WXE). Together, we specialize in commercial and petroleum construction, industrial and commercial electrical, industrial cleaning, and hazardous waste disposal. PNE LLC is a multi-state organization with operating offices in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Hawaii. In addition, we carry out projects across the United States.

CCS provides industrial cleaning and spill response to almost every pulp and paper mill in the Pacific Northwest. We also service major oil companies and a wide range of manufacturing and industrial clients. CCS has demonstrated its ability to complete large and complex industrial cleaning challenges on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with the most stringent industrial health & safety programs. No industrial cleaning job is too large or too small for CCS.

The CDL Class A is responsible for safety transporting hazmat or other materials from the job sites to safe disposal locations. Hands on work with the field team is required for this position.

Education and Experience Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Drivers License Required.
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement
• Hazmat is preferred, but not required.
• 2-3 years experience driving DOT regulated vehicles is required.
• Experience driving Hazmat materials strongly preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operator truck controls to engage, move, and reposition vacuum hoses as necessary when operating a vacuum truck.
• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles as required for job duties, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and company policies
• Drives in accordance with all company safety policies and within all laws, rules, and regulations.
• Complete DOT required pre and post trip inspections, completing any required paperwork as needed.
• Operate box van carrying drums with a lift gate in order to pick up and/or deliver drums at a specific destination.
• Operate truck in accordance with instructions received from dispatch or the supervisor each day.
• Loads, unloads, and sets up vacuum hoses at job site when operating the vacuum truck.
• Report all accidents and injuries and completes an accident report form when necessary.
• Ensures all loads are properly secured prior to driving and maintains safety while driving.
• Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

The candidate must possess and be adaptable to the following physical abilities and working conditions:

• Move about the jobsite as needed.
• Move work related equipment up to 50lbs.
• Remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.
• Operate various technological devices, including but not limited to a computer.
• Operate machinery in compliance with all safety procedures.
• Occasionally ascend/descend ladders and/or stairs.
