Job summary

Beach Road Precision Manufacturing HDDP in Winder, GA is seeking a CDL Truck Driver (CDL-A) to haul drilling equipment and supplies to active sites. You will ensure safety and DOT compliance while operating heavy rigs and lowbed trailers.

Responsibilities include rig setup support, inspections, and maintaining logs. Must have CDL-A, DOT medical card, and pass drug tests; heavy outdoor work and oilfield exposure are common.

Qualifications

• Inspections: Complete pre-trip, post-trip, and daily equipment inspections, reporting any mechanical issues.
• Compliance: Maintain accurate ELDs and driving logs in compliance with DOT.
• Safety & Maintenance: Follow Job Safety Analysis guidelines, wear PPE, and keep the vehicle clean.

Position Summary

• Role: CDL Truck Driver (CDL- A)


• Industry: Drilling Services / Construction / Energy Infrastructure


• Goal: Transport heavy equipment, supplies, and fluids to active drilling sites while maintaining strict compliance with safety and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport & Delivery: Safely haul drill rigs, lowbed trailers, water/vacuum tanks, and drilling fluids to and from job locations. [1, 2, 3, 4]


• Site Support: Assist the crew with rig setup, tear-down, loading, and unloading of heavy equipment and materials.


• Inspections: Complete pre-trip, post-trip, and daily equipment inspections, reporting any mechanical issues immediately. [1, 2, 3]


• Compliance: Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and driving logs in compliance with DOT.


• Safety & Maintenance: Follow all Job Safety Analysis (JSA) guidelines, wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and keep the vehicle clean.

Qualifications & Requirements

• License: Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.


• Endorsements: Tanker and Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) endorsements are frequently required.


• Medical: Valid DOT medical card and ability to pass a fit-for-duty physical exam.


• Drug Testing: Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screenings.


• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50-80 lbs, bend frequently, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.


• Experience: Prior commercial driving experience; oilfield, lowboy, or heavy construction background is preferred. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]

Qualifications

• Class - A CDL is required, as moving equipment is requirement.


• Valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record


• Experience as a mechanic


• Ability to follow directions and make recommendations.


• Ability to operate manual and mechanical equipment necessary to complete jobs.


• Able to obtain knowledge of "safety systems" associated with trenching and/or drilling including set-up and emergency procedures.
