CDL Driver – Signing Bonus

A special consideration with this employment offer. We are pleased to offer you a signing bonus of $4,000; $500 will be paid on the first paycheck, $2,000 after three months of continuous employment, and the remaining $1,500 after six months. The sign‑on bonus is taxable and all regular payroll taxes will be withheld.

Job Summary

As a CDL truck driver for the largest manufacturer of in‑ground swimming pools in North America, you will reliably and safely transport fiberglass pools and supplies from the distribution center to installation sites.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, and deliver fiberglass pools.
• Ensure loads are properly secured.
• Follow state‑permitted routes and delivery schedule.
• Rest at appropriate times.
• Notify managers of maintenance or delivery issues.
• Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs.
• Track and report working hours on an Electronic Log System.
• Adhere to company rules, regulations, and traffic laws.
• Comply with DOT regulations.
• Prioritize safety at all times.
• Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment when required.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or damage.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age and have a minimum of 2 years driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL Driver’s License and a clean MVR.
• Previous oversize load experience preferred.
• Ability to learn basic repair processes.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Capability to work with pilot drivers when transporting an oversize load.
• Good knowledge of roads.
• Ability to read customer orders and follow safety regulations.
• Must be able to sit, walk, stand, talk or hear, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
