Job summary

QXO is hiring a CDL driver to perform touch-freight tasks and help load and unload materials at customer sites in North Dakota. You will pre-inspect trucks, verify loads, and notify management of hazards to ensure a safe work environment while meeting delivery schedules.

Requirements include 21+ years old, a valid Class B CDL, and at least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience. NCCCO certification or boom truck exposure is a plus; outdoor work in all weather is expected.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid Class B CDL license in good standing.
  • At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
  • NCCCO certification and/or boom truck experience preferred.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
  • Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
  • Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
  • Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
  • Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE
