Job summary

Maersk in Savannah, GA is seeking a Class A truck driver to safely operate a tractor trailer and complete timely deliveries. You will load and unload freight with a liftgate or pallet jack when needed, and travel approximately 200 miles daily to stores, warehouses, yards, and airports.

Pay starts at $27.00 per hour with benefits including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) match, EAP, PTO, and flexible scheduling where possible. A DOT medical is required and a clean driving record is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A driver’s license.
• DOT medical required.
• Clean driving record.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Tractor Trailer.
• Load and unload freight using liftgate and pallet jack when needed.
• Touching freight is required 20% of time.
• Complete timely and accurate deliveries.
• Deliver to commercial and residential locations.
• Approximately 200 miles driven daily.
• Deliveries to stores, warehouse, yards, airport.
• Some installations may be required.

*The above stated pay is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.

Monday - Friday - 8am-5:00pm (AM)

Mon-Friday 2pm- 10:30pm (PM)

Requirements

• No speeding 15 over
• No DUI or criminal history
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A experience
