Job summary

Tejas Equipment Rental in San Benito, TX is seeking a CDL Equipment Driver to transport and deliver heavy equipment to job sites and branches across the region. You’ll be the face of Tejas on site, loading, securing, and unloading equipment such as mini excavators, skid steers, lifts, and more.

This full-time role offers competitive pay with overtime, medical/dental/vision coverage, a 401(k), life insurance, an HSA, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Current DOT medical card or ability to obtain one.
• Experience hauling heavy equipment preferred.
• Strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and represent Tejas brand with pride.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport construction equipment to and from job sites and branches across the region.
• Load, unload, and secure a variety of equipment - mini excavators, skid steers, lifts, and more.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections (we take safety seriously).
• Deliver top-tier service with every drop-off and pick-up - you’re the face of Tejas on the job site.
• Problem-solve on the fly and keep the day moving when plans change.

• Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-5:00 PM - home every night, no overnight routes

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record (of course)
• Current DOT medical card (or ability to obtain one)

• Bonus points if you know your way around load securement and DOT regulations
