Job summary

QXO, based in Oklahoma City, is seeking a CDL driver to perform touch‑free loading tasks, pre‑inspect trucks, and ensure safe site conditions. You will coordinate with the dispatcher and follow DOT safety procedures.

Must hold valid CDL Class A or B, be at least 21, have 12 months of verifiable driving experience, and be comfortable working outdoors and in a team.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch‑freight tasks, lifting/carrying up to 75 lbs.
• Pre‑inspect the truck and load materials.
• Notify branch management of hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site for safety.
• Maintain communication with the dispatcher for timely deliveries.
• Adhere to DOT safety procedures and wear PPE.

What You’ll Do

• Perform touch‑freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
• Pre‑inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE

What You’ll Bring

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
