Job summary

Lansing Building Products, LLC is hiring a CDL Driver to start around 7:00 AM, finishing around 4:30 PM with generally no weekend work. The role combines deliveries and warehouse tasks, requiring a CDL A license, clean driving record, forklift experience, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver to customers and act as Lansing's front-line representative at job sites.
• Split time between deliveries and warehouse duties.
• Operate a Moffett forklift to make deliveries.
• Provide outstanding customer service and keep the warehouse clean and orderly.
• May perform other tasks such as cycle counts, inventory, or inside sales as needed.

HOME EVERY NIGHT!

CDL Driver's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)

CDL Driver Responsibilities:

• Lives the mission statement
• Acts as a front-line Lansing representative while providing outstanding customer service
• Splits time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse
• Uses a moffett forklift to make deliveries
• Interacts with customers and or crews at job sites
• Provides exceptional service to each Lansing customer…and constantly strive to improve that level of service
• Keeps warehouse clean and orderly
• This is a "get-the-job-done" kind of position...you may be asked to perform other functions not particularly addressed in this posting, such as cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.

CDL Driver Qualifications:

• CDL A license is required for this position
• CDL Driver must have a clean driving record
• Have moffett forklift experience
• Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus -- and to work as a contributing member of a larger team
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing as much as 70 pounds
• Experience with building products is very helpful
• Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude
• At least one year of driving experience
• Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck
