Job summary

Milwaukie Lumber Company is hiring Class A and Class B drivers for its Milwaukie and Vancouver stores. You will deliver building materials to customer job sites using trucks and related equipment, verify delivery accuracy, and complete daily vehicle inspections.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6am until done, with guaranteed 40 hours per week year-round and overtime as needed. Eligible drivers receive Health/Dental/Vision, PTO, and a Simple IRA with company match.

Qualifications

• Have a current Class A or Class B CDL.
• Able to operate a manual transmission.
• Pass MVR (no more than 3 violations in last 3 years).
• Pass background check (no felonies in last 7 years).
• Hold a current DOT medical card.
• Able to pass drug screen including marijuana.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to customer job sites using truck and truck-mounted equipment or roll off trucks.
• Verify accuracy of deliveries.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and mileage reports.
• Assist with pulling orders, loading trucks, or other duties when not driving.

• Daily vehicle inspections and mileage reports.


• Duties may also include helping pull orders for delivery, loading trucks, or various other duties when not driving.

Requirements:

• A current Class A or Class B CDL.


• Be able to operate a manual transmission.
