Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for a CDL A or B Driver to coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites in Florida. The role may involve operating a truck-mounted forklift and requires strict adherence to DOT regulations and accurate paperwork.

We seek candidates with at least one year of CDL driving experience and a valid state license; forklift certification is preferred, and Spanish proficiency is a plus. This on-site role supports our construction-materials distribution network.

Qualifications

• Must have current Class A or B CDL with appropriate endorsements for equipment operated (HazMat endorsements are context-dependent).
• Two years of commercial driving experience preferred per Federal DOT rules.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments.
• Follows DOT regulations and safety procedures.
• Ensures manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Has a minimum of one year of CDL driving experience and required state license.
• Performs other duties as needed.

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites.

• Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong sense of safety.
• Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Has a minimum of one year of CDL Driving experience and required state license.
• Performs other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Have a current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state in which the candidate resides with all the relevant endorsements required for the type of equipment being operated (i.e., Hazardous Material to transport hazardous materials that require placarding)
• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred
• Forklift certification preferred
• Spanish language proficiency
