Job summary

Brink’s U.S. division is seeking licensed CDL drivers for local routes around Los Angeles. You will guard and transport cash and valuables, maintain vehicle safety, and complete delivery documentation while staying in close contact with dispatch.

We offer competitive hourly pay and a full benefits package. Candidates must meet CDL/B license, DOT, firearms permit, background check, and drug screening requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age and able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Minimum of Class B license and DOT requirements.
• Valid firearms permit or ability to pass firearms licensing.
• Guard card or ability to obtain one; driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Guard and maintain safety and security of armored vehicle and liability.
• Guard team safety and coordinate with dispatch during routes.
• Load and unload armored vehicle; complete delivery documentation.
• Maintain radio communication with branch and vehicle crew.
• Report faults and ensure vehicle interior cleanliness.
• Cross-train and perform other duties as assigned.

Our Commercial Licensed Drivers are a familiar sight around the community. From filling ATMs to servicing local banks and businesses, our CDL drivers are working to keep commerce moving. It’s more than getting cash and valuables from point A to point B; it’s a fast-paced environment that requires vigilance about your surroundings and trust in your fellow team members to ensure commerce in the community keeps moving.

The CDL Driver Role:

• Guard and maintain the safety, security, and control of the armored vehicle and liability at all times
• Guard and maintain the safety and security of your team at all times
• Maintain radio communication with the Cash Transport Guard and other vehicle crew during pick-up and delivery of liability
• Maintain radio communication with the branch and/or dispatch personnel
• Load and unload the armored vehicle
• Complete appropriate driving and delivery documentation
• Report all faults experienced during the day’s activity
• Ensure overall cleanliness of the vehicle’s interior
• Cross-train and perform other duties as assigned
• Guard liability and assets

The Qualifications You Must Have:

• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Minimum of Class B license
• Satisfy all applicable Department of Transportation requirements
• A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing requirementsA valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licenses
• Chauffeur’s license OR ability to obtain one (Indiana, Louisiana, and Michigan residents only)
• Ability to satisfactorily complete and maintain all required internal training applicable to the position.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment verification, background check and drug screening as permitted by applicable law.

The Additional Qualifications We Prefer:

• Air brake endorsement
• Experience in at least one of the following: commercial or fleet driving, security, military, or other professional driving experience
