The role emphasizes safe driving, dependable service, and professional interaction with customers.

You will operate Moffett truck-mounted forklifts, secure loads, conduct pre-trip inspections, maintain delivery paperwork, and travel as needed with some overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL for equipment operated.
• Experience operating Moffett truck-mounted forklifts or similar equipment.
• Willingness to drive year-round and overnight as routes require.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality and professional attitude.

CDL Delivery Driver

Triad Building Components is looking for a reliable CDL Driver to join our Idaho Falls team. This position delivers metal roofing, siding, laminated wood columns, and other building materials to our customers. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in safe driving, dependable service, and treating people well.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver building materials to customer locations and job sites.
• Operate Moffett truck-mounted forklifts and other lifts to load and unload materials.
• Secure loads properly and follow applicable transportation and safety requirements.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and required driver records.
• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and dispatch.
• Drive and make deliveries year-round, adjusting to seasonal weather and road conditions while prioritizing safety.
• Assist with yard and material-handling duties as needed.

Schedule and Travel

Drivers will be home most nights; however, some routes may require two to three nights away from home, depending on delivery distance, weather conditions, and the number of delivery stops.

Requirements

• Current, valid CDL appropriate for the equipment operated.

• Willingness to drive year-round and stay overnight as delivery routes require.
