Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking a CDL Driver to support our trenchless infrastructure services. The role involves manual labor tasks and operating company equipment, with an emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualified candidates will have 3-5 years of Class A vehicle experience, a tanker endorsement (or willingness to obtain), and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, DOT physical, and background check. Monday–Friday with potential weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manual labor tasks (lifting, carrying, dragging or pulling material, etc.)
• Equipment driving and operation.

Qualifications

• Preferred 3-5 years of experience operating a Class A Vehicle
• Tanker endorsement required or willing to obtain.
• Must also have the ability and/or willingness to learn and operate other company equipment.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test, D.O.T. physical and meet background requirements.

Physical Demands

• Ability to perform physically demanding work for 8+ hours a day, including prolonged standing and walking, bending, and twisting.
• Ability to lift and move 50 lbs.
• Able to work in various weather conditions.
• Able to wear required PPE, i.e., hard hats, safety vest, work boots, and/or safety glasses/goggles while working as required by the job.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday and can include shift work, weekends, evenings, holidays - flexibility is required as job duties demand.

Salary Range

• $29.00- $34.00, depending on position qualifications, job related skills and experience, education, certifications, and geographic location.
