Job summary

Centuri Construction Group, Inc. is seeking a CDL Truck Driver in California to load, transport, and unload essential equipment and materials with precision. You will participate in paid on-the-job training and work with a crew on various earth-moving projects.

You must have a valid CDL, 1+ year of related experience, and the ability to operate near underground utilities. Weekly payroll and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year prior experience operating equipment near workers and underground utilities.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations pertaining to commercial vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles hauling, loading, and unloading equipment and materials to and from job sites.
• Maintain daily pre-shift vehicle and equipment inspections.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain all industry-required Operator Qualifications.
• Perform tasks as requested by leadership.

As aCDL Truck Driverwith1+ year of experience, you will pay a key role in our operations - loading, transporting, and unloading essential equipment, supplies, and materials with precision and care. You will receive1-4 weeks of paid training, equipping you with the knowledge and skills to ensure the safety of yourself, your team, and the community. Once trained, you will join a crew, operating specialized trucks and earth moving equipment while also stepping in to support general labor tasks as needed to drive project success.

What You'll Do

• Operate a variety of vehicles hauling, loading, and unloading equipment and materials to and from job sites
• Maintain daily pre-shift vehicle and equipment inspections
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment
• Maintain all industry-required Operator Qualifications
• Perform tasks as requested by leadership

What You'll Have
