Job summary

Elite Material and Logistics Solutions seeks a reliable CDL Driver to operate local routes transporting dry goods. This solo driving role requires strict adherence to safety standards, timely deliveries, and positive customer interactions without overnight travel.

Shifts include 2nd shift (4:00pm–12:30am), 3rd shift (8:30pm–7:00am), with mandatory training on first shift (6:30am–3:00pm). The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL, the ability to drive manual transmissions, and a clean driving

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid CDL license is required.
• Must know how to drive manual transmission.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicle on local routes.
• Load, secure, and unload dry goods cargo safely.
• Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Interact professionally with customers during deliveries.
• Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
• Monitor and manage fuel consumption.
• Report any accidents or incidents promptly.

Required Qualifications

• Must be able to meet company standards MVR background requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of commercial driving experience
• Knowledge of commercial driving and route navigation
• Proficient in vehicle inspection and safety regulations
• Strong time management and customer service skills
• Effective communication abilities
