Job summary

The Guam Guide, LLC is seeking a responsible driver to load, transport, and unload equipment across Guam. You will verify delivery details, ensure cargo security, and maintain delivery paperwork while keeping the vehicle in top condition.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 2+ years of commercial driving, 1+ years forklift experience, and valid CDL endorsements (Hazmat and Tanker). Competitive wages and benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Support loading, driving, and unloading of equipment.
• Safely load trucks at pickup points and transport to destination following road rules.
• Safely load/unload trucks at designated drop-off points.
• Ensure truckload contents are secure for delivery.
• Review documentation for correct items and delivery area.
• Maintain paperwork related to deliveries to prevent damage.
• Monitor vehicle service records and report issues to manager.
• Keep vehicle clean and refuel when low.

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support loading, driving, and unloading of equipment
• Safely load trucks at pickup points and transport truckloads to the destination always following the rules of the road
• Safely load and unload trucks at designated drop-off points
• Responsible for ensuring truckload contents are secure for safe and undamaged delivery to the destination
• Review all documentation for the correct items to be delivered, as well as the precise delivery area
• Maintain all applicable documents (paperwork) related to items being delivered to ensure they are not damaged during delivery
• Monitor service records of the vehicle when driving and report all problems to the manager immediately
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the vehicle and refueling when low
• In case of an emergency, contact the immediate supervisor and provide detailed information to remedy the issue

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 2+ years of professional commercial driving experience
• 1+ years of professional forklift experience

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Counter-balance sit-down forklift experience
• Material handling and heavy-haul driving experience (over 26k GVW)
• Experience driving for a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team
• Strong customer-service delivery background
• CDL Hazmat Endorsement
• CDL Tanker Endorsement
