Job summary

Evers & Sons Inc. is seeking an entry-level CDL Driver to transport equipment and crew to job sites, with occasional regional deliveries. The role emphasizes safety and logging daily inspections while maintaining all required endorsements and DOT certifications.

Ideal candidates are at least 23 years old, have 1–2 years of experience in oil & gas driving, and bilingual Spanish/English is a plus. Benefits include medical, dental, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• 1 year of passenger hauling experience preferred.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• MVR and Background Check must be passed.
• DOT Medical Certification Card and any other DOT/OSHA certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Fill out daily inspection log at the beginning of each trip and turn in form when completed.
• Operate company-owned and leased vehicles for transportation of employees to customer's jobsite in a safe manner.
• Maintain a CDL license, CDL Medical Card, Hazmat Endorsement, Air Brake Endorsement and all required certifications by DOT and OSHA.
• Report all incidences to supervisor.
• Complete daily vehicle inspection form.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Wear PPE as required.
• Keep a legal and accurate EDL log.
• Perform other tasks to support operations.

Required Qualification's

A GED and/or high school diploma and/or 1 year of passenger hauling experience

Required Experience

• Must be at least 23 years of age
• 1-2 years of experience in driving for an oil & gas manufacturer
• Must be able to pass MVR and Background Check requirements
• Must also have a DOT Medical Certification Card and any other certifications required by DOT and OSHA
• Must be able to read, write and speak English, Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred

• Maintain a valid CDL license, CDL Medical Card, Hazmat Endorsement, Air Brake Endorsement and all required certifications by DOT, OSHA and Company Safety Programs
• Report all incidences, including but not limited to accidents, property damage, theft, loss, maintenance and/or safety issues to supervisor
• Accurately complete daily vehicle inspection form
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, guidelines, DOT regulations and Company policies
• Always wear valid PPE
• Keep a legal and accurate EDL log
• Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations
• Must keep work area, tools, and equipment clean and in working condition
• Be professional and courteous in dealings with employees, customers and/or vendors
• Follow all Company policies and procedures and obtain certifications at Company/Client request, including but not limited to, BBP, Onsite Orientations, First Aid, CPR, Annual OSHA Training, PEC, H2S, AED, DOT Medical Card
