Job summary

TForce Freight, Inc. is hiring a full-time Dockworker with a CDL to join our growing logistics team in Wisconsin. You will ensure freight is loaded safely and efficiently for on-time delivery to customers, operating powered warehouse equipment such as forklifts and cherry pickers, and maneuvering tractors as needed.

The role requires a valid CDL-A, forklift certification, and Hazmat/tanker endorsements, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and professional communication with the dispatch team.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certification required.
• Valid class A CDL in resident state.
• Hazmat, tanker and doubles endorsements.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Read, write and speak English.
• U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Operate yard trucks to manage dock needs and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Print BOL for daily deliveries.
• Process and palletize damaged penny and RTV merchandise.
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure workplace.
• Help maintain and care for dock equipment.
• Unload cargo using cranes or forklifts.
• Secure shipments upon arrival and before departure
• Operate a commercial vehicle transporting goods to various locations safely and efficiently as needed.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report maintenance needs.
• Adhere to all local, state and federal transportation regulations and safety protocols.
• Maintain logs for driving hours, routes traveled and cargo conditions.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules, delays and issues during transportation.
