Job summary
Townsend Building Supply in Alabama is hiring CDL Delivery Specialists to transport orders to local customer jobsites safely with our well-maintained fleet. You will ensure daily delivery schedules are met and provide friendly, professional customer service on every run.
On site you will unload using a dump bed or a truck-mounted forklift, helping place materials exactly where customers need them. A valid CDL, clean driving record, and experience with building materials are preferred; growth
Qualifications
- Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials.
- Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift.
- An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license.
- Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred.
- Ability to be a team player.
Responsibilities
- Transport orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using our fleet.
- Unload on site using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift and place materials where needed.
- Meet daily delivery schedules and provide friendly, professional customer service.
