Job summary

Batesville is seeking a professional Commercial Driver to join our logistics team in Omaha. You will operate a Box Truck/Straight Truck, deliver and unload caskets, and build strong relationships with funeral homes and customers while complying with DOT and company safety policies.

We offer competitive hourly pay of $21.03, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) with company matching, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement. A valid CDL or equivalent, clean MVR, and flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean MVR or Driver Abstract with no major violations in the past three years.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including any days, shift, and weekends.
• Must successfully pass a vehicle road test.
• Must maintain a current DOT physical on file.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Commercial Motor Vehicles such as a Box Truck/Straight Truck
• Deliver and unload caskets in a safe manner
• Develop and nurture customer relationships
• Effectively meet CSC and customer demands
• Responsible for local operational performance per DOT regulations and safety policies
• Record hours of service and related data using ELDs
