Construction Resources is hiring a Delivery Truck Driver in Sarasota, FL. The role centers on the safe operation of the company vehicle, securing loads, delivering materials to customer locations, and handling related paperwork.

Travel is required as part of duties. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience, a valid CDL A or B, the ability to operate a gate lift and electric pallet jack, and a clean pre-employment drug and background check.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience with a safe driving record.
• Possess a commercial driver's license (CDL) type A or B.
• Able to operate a gate lift and electric pallet jack.
• Experience delivering to commercial and residential customers.
• Travel required for the position.
• Pre-employment drug test and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a heavy-load truck.
• Secure all materials at start and monitor after each delivery.
• Complete and return customer paperwork at end of shift.
• Collect and secure money with paperwork.
• Report issues to dispatch.
• Perform daily truck inspections (DVIR).
• Seek guidance on non-routine issues from supervisor.
• Inspect truck and equipment for good condition.
