Job summary

RNDC (Republic National Distributing Company) in Deerfield Beach, FL is seeking a CDL Driver to ensure the timely and safe delivery of wine and spirits to customers, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service. The role may involve collecting non-cash payments as needed during deliveries.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, deliver to roughly 19 accounts daily (up to 30 during peak times), and cover about 160 miles per day with potential increases on busy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of delivery experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Requires a current Class B CDL driver's license (Class A may be required for some locations).
• Must be able to obtain a valid DOT medical certification card.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and comply with DOT hours of service for license type.
• Deliver to approximately 19 accounts daily; may delivery up to 30 accounts during peak periods.
• Cover about 160 miles daily; may rise to 200–300 miles on busier routes or out-of-town trips.
• Deliver invoiced products by bottle, case, pallet, or hand-stack and record deliveries to customer accounts.
• Verify receipt with the customer, obtain signature, and collect payment if necessary for goods received.
• Ensure physical security of the delivery vehicle at all times.
• Possibility to work with one or more helpers.
• Provide feedback to transportation management on route changes or concerns.
• May use a smartphone for HOS software or driver monitoring programs.
