Hammond Lumber Company in Bar Harbor, Maine is seeking a Full Time CDL Delivery Driver to support our local customers with reliable material deliveries and exceptional service.

Responsibilities include operating Class A or B vehicles, loading and unloading, handling building materials, and ensuring safe, compliant deliveries in a fast-paced yard environment. Forklift experience is a plus, as is a clean driving record and USDOT compliance.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience handling building materials is a plus.
• Spider/boom truck experience is a plus but not required.
• Candidate should have a clean and valid Class A or B driver’s license.
• Final applicant must comply with USDOT testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment to load, unload and store materials in the yard.
• Perform customer deliveries utilizing Class B or Class A equipment.
• Provide customer service during deliveries.
• Position requires heavy lifting.
