Job summary

Hammond Lumber Company is seeking a full-time CDL Delivery Driver for Auburn, Maine. The role involves delivering building materials, loading and unloading at the yard, and maintaining excellent customer service while handling heavy lifting and equipment operations.

Ideal candidates will have a clean Class A or B license and be able to comply with USDOT testing requirements; forklift experience is a plus and prior material-handling experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Experience handling building materials is a plus.
• Spider truck or boom truck experience is a plus, but not required.
• Preferred candidate has a clean and valid Class A or B driver’s license.
• Must comply with USDOT testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklift and other material handling equipment to pick, load, unload and store materials in the yard
• Performs customer deliveries utilizing Class B or Class A equipment
• Provides customer service
