Job summary

ABC Supply, America’s largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products, is seeking a licensed CDL Driver in Altoona, IA. You will deliver materials safely, maintain loading checks, and collaborate with the branch team to meet delivery schedules.

This role emphasizes customer service, regulatory compliance, and precise documentation. Pre-employment drug screening is required; crane/delivery experience is a plus. Competitive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL – Class A or B.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 75–100 pounds.
• Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens required.
• Knuckle and/or drywall boom truck experience preferred.
• Crane certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conduct a safe work zone during each job site.
• Adhere to delivery schedules and follow directives precisely.
• Document each delivery by taking/uploading photos with the camera phone system.
• Perform load checks and ensure materials are secured and compliant with regulations.
• Work with the Delivery Material Handler to set and unload materials; file logs and paperwork.
• Provide the customer with an invoice and collect COD payments when applicable.
• May perform warehouse tasks including loading/unloading materials.
