Job summary

Lone Star Materials, Inc. - Austin is seeking a delivery driver to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle, load and unload building materials, and deliver to commercial and residential job sites with outstanding customer service.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, valid CDL (Class B minimum, Class A preferred), clean MVR, knowledge of DOT regulations, ability to lift up to 80 lbs, and a proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team while prioritizing safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Minimum Class B License, Class A preferred.
• Clear three year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck/trailer for defects and ensure safe operation.
• Safely load and unload materials onto flatbed or boom truck.
• Deliver materials to assigned areas while prioritizing safety and customer service.
• Maintain records for state and federal regulations.
• Report accidents and handle heavy lifting up to 100+ lbs.
