Hammond Lumber Company, voted 2025's Best Places to Work in Maine, is seeking a Full-Time CDL Delivery Driver for our Gorham, Maine location. You will operate forklift and other material handling equipment to pick, load, unload and store materials in the yard, and perform customer deliveries using Class A or B equipment.

The role requires heavy lifting and strong customer service skills. A clean CDL is required and USDOT testing compliance is expected.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B commercial driver's license (CDL) and USDOT compliance.
• Experience handling building materials is a plus.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklift and other material handling equipment to pick, load, unload and store materials in the yard.
• Performs customer deliveries utilizing Class B or Class A equipment.
• Provides customer service.
• Position requires heavy lifting.
