Job summary

US Foods is seeking Delivery Truck Drivers in New York to safely deliver products to customers on schedule. The base rate for this role is between $32.70 and $35.70 per hour, with overtime as applicable.

You will unload, verify deliveries, collect payments when needed, and provide professional customer service, while performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Required are a valid CDL Class A with endorsements, DOT qualifications, and FMCSA Clearinghouse registration; minimum 21 years old;

Qualifications

• Must hold CDL Class A with endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registration required.
• Six months commercial driving experience or three months in food/bev delivery.
• Able to read/communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet delivery times.
• Unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas.
• Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures.
• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
• Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience.
• Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection.
