Qualifications

• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment
• Ability to pass MVR screen per company requirements
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
• Must be 21 years of age
• Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe's customer service policies, procedures and programs
• Seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
• Listens to and responds to customer and employee questions, guiding customers through projects
• Communicates information to customers regarding stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information
• Contacts customers regarding delivery or coordinates with the truck driver to call the customer
• Plans delivery activities, prints loading tickets, and delivers merchandise on schedule
• Loads and unloads merchandise, builds and bands delivery loads, and ensures safe loading
• Ensures loads are safe and compliant with DOT regulations
• Updates delivery/route status on system for tracking
• Unloads, installs, and tests appliances upon delivery
• Performs daily vehicle inspections and DOT reporting
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment
• Operates store equipment as needed
