Job summary

H & R Foods, a division of PAK Quality Foods, is seeking a dependable CDL Delivery Driver (Class A or B) to deliver food products to restaurant and retail customers throughout the region. You will operate company refrigerated vehicles, maintain DOT compliance and food safety standards, and ensure accurate, on-time deliveries with excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid CDL, 1+ year delivery experience, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and strong communication and time management

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B with current DOT medical card.
• 1+ year delivery driving experience (food/beverage preferred).
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs; proficient with pallet jacks, hand trucks, and lift gates.
• Working knowledge of DOT hours-of-service and basic vehicle safety.
• Basic math for money handling and transactions.
• Read/write/speak English per DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company refrigerated vehicles on assigned routes.
• Load/unload using pallet jacks, lift gates, and hand trucks; maintain cold-chain integrity.
• Support occasional hand-stocking at customer locations as needed.
• Verify counts, temperatures, and paperwork against invoices/manifests.
• Collect payments on customer invoices according to terms.
• Complete DOT pre-trip/post-trip inspections and logs.
• Communicate delays, route changes, and issues to dispatch/operations.
• Keep vehicle clean and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Provide courteous, solution-oriented service to all customers.

About the Role

H & R Foods, a Division of PAK Quality Foods, is seeking a dependable, safety-focused CDL Delivery Driver (Class A or B) to deliver food products to restaurant and retail customers throughout the region. Drivers operate company refrigerated commercial vehicles while maintaining strict DOT compliance and food safety standards. This role is critical to ensuring accurate, on-time deliveries and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company refrigerated commercial vehicles on assigned routes
• Load/unload using pallet jacks, lift gates, and hand trucks while maintaining cold-chain integrity.
• Support occasional hand-stocking at customer locations when required by delivery specifications or customer needs.
• Verify counts, temperatures, and paperwork against invoices/manifests.
• Collect payments on customer invoices according to payment terms.
• Complete DOT pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs.
• Communicate delays, route changes, and issues to dispatch/operations.
• Keep vehicle clean and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.

Qualifications

Required

• Valid CDL Class A or B, acceptable driving record, and current DOT medical card.
• 1+ year commercial or route delivery driving experience (food/beverage preferred).
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs; proficient with pallet jacks, hand trucks, and lift gates.
• Working knowledge of DOT hours-of-service and basic vehicle safety.
• Basic math skills, including accurate money counting and handling.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English in accordance with DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with refrigerated delivery and temperature-sensitive goods.
• Familiarity with ELDs, handheld scanners, or route management systems.
• Full-time with early morningstarts; may include weekends/holidays and overnight routes.
• Mix of refrigerated and dry environments; frequent bending, lifting, pushing/pulling, and stairs/ramps.
• Must pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.
