Job summary

Core Transportation in Houston, TX is hiring a CDL Delivery Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering building materials to customers, performing pre-trip checks, and maintaining DOT safety standards.

We offer competitive pay, health, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k), overtime, paid time off plus holidays, and a schedule of Monday through Friday with weekends off. You’ll be home every night with newer model trucks and a strong emphasis on safety.

Qualifications

• A clean driving record is required.
• CDL Class A or B license in good standing.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
• Safety PPE must be worn at all times.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspection and load verification.
• Load materials and guide loaders for safe handling.
• Ensure loads are secure for transit.
• Communicate with dispatcher to ensure timely delivery.
• Notify branch management of on-site hazards.
• Maintain an up-to-date logbook and comply with safety policies.
