Job summary

JFC International, Inc. is seeking a delivery driver to safely operate a delivery vehicle and ensure timely deliveries in the Los Angeles area. You will load/unload with forklift equipment and provide excellent customer service throughout the routes.

The role requires a valid CDL A or B with a clean driving record, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and familiarity with DOT logs. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Job description

Job Duties:

Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers

Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts, stand up rider jacks, and hand trucks

Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries

Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner

Verify the accuracy of delivery orders before leaving the warehouse

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle

Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

Complete Department of Transportation (DOT) logs (electronic or manual as required), company vehicle maintenance reports and reconcile with appropriate company representative as required.

Other related duties.

Education/ Experience/Skills:

Valid CDL A or B class license with a clean driving record. Non-CDL drivers will not be qualified for the job.

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role

Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment

Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)

Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines

Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and road safety procedures

Familiarity with using GPS devices or navigation apps for efficient route planning

Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor

English language skills (speaking, reading, writing)

Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).

Special Requirements:

Experience with refrigerated trailers or van driving is a plus, but not required.
