Job summary

Prime Meats is hiring CDL A delivery drivers to serve our Southeast network and expanding nationwide. You will transport assorted proteins to customers, perform inspections, and maintain accurate paperwork while meeting on-time delivery targets.

We offer a guaranteed 40-hour workweek, paid training, and quarterly bonuses up to $900 based on performance and safety, with employee discounts and 10 paid days off yearly.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience as a CDL A driver.
• Willing to travel out of town weekly and lift up to 110 lbs.
• Willing to get Composite or steel-toe shoes.
• No serious tickets or accidents in the last 3 years.
• DOT Medical Card/physical required. We can sponsor your medical card if you do not have one (subject to terms and conditions).
• No DWI/DUI in the last 10 years.
• Ability to communicate in English required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and complete the E-Verify employment verification process.

Responsibilities

• Transport fresh, frozen, and refrigerated products to customers along assigned routes.
• Complete daily routes efficiently and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Verify orders, delivery paperwork, and customer instructions to ensure accuracy.
• Collect payments, obtain delivery confirmations, and complete required documentation.
• Use ELD systems and other technology to track driving hours, inspections, and route activity.
• Follow DOT regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
• Report safety issues, vehicle maintenance needs, incidents, and customer feedback.
• Maintain safe driving practices and actively prevent accidents.
