Job summary

Tague Lumber Inc. is seeking a CDL Delivery Driver to join our Philadelphia team. You will deliver building materials to local job sites, perform loading/unloading, and ensure loads are secured for transport. The role emphasizes safe operation of equipment and compliance with DOT regulations.

Ideal candidates have CDL A or B, prior building materials delivery experience, and the ability to pass background checks and medical certification. Forklift certification and basic math skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Ability to obtain Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Med Card).
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.

Position

CDL Delivery Driver – Philadelphia, PA. Operate well‑maintained vehicles and deliver building materials to local job sites.

Responsibilities

We are looking for drivers who are friendly and provide professional service while ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials. Drivers are expected to operate all equipment safely and comply with all applicable highway rules and regulations.

• CDL A or CDL B
• Previous driving experience, preferably in building materials
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Ensure all materials are properly secured for transport
• Inspect and process customer returns according to company procedures
• Operate a forklift (maintain certification) and/or pallet jack as needed
• Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure required preventive maintenance is completed on assigned vehicles
• Maintain compliance with all safety policies and DOT regulations
