Hammond Lumber Company in Bucksport, Maine is seeking a Full-Time Delivery Driver to support our yard and customer delivery operations. The role involves loading, unloading, and transporting building materials, and may include forklift duties in the yard.

Strong customer service and safe driving practices are essential. The ideal candidate will hold a clean, valid Class A or B driver’s license and meet USDOT testing requirements; heavy lifting is a frequent requirement.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
• Experience handling building materials is a plus.
• Clean and valid Class A or B driver's license preferred.
• Must comply with USDOT testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklift and material handling equipment to pick, load, unload and store materials in the yard.
• Performs customer deliveries utilizing Class B or Class A equipment.
